Testimonials from Past Participants

I appreciated the different lenses the three speakers brought to their presentations – it all tied in to the Common Core but in very different ways.  The speakers are all so smart and sophisticated that any colleague at any level of experience could take something away.

                                    Hilary Kissel

The demonstrations of how to implement the Common Core as well as all the books and resources given were helpful to me to take back and share. All sessions offered something new and useful with solid Common Core connections. Thanks for offering opportunities like this one!

                                                           Katie Blewitt

Every presenter provided outstanding information and resources. They were all so dynamic, approachable, and real. These workshops are top-notch, from the topics to the resources, to the presenters, to the food, to the atmosphere. Just fabulous!

                                                                Angela Brown

It was so helpful to me to be surrounded by people with a common goal. I loved the presentors, comfort level, information, and take-home resources.

                                                              Torri Robbins

The presentations were practical and allowed time for us to apply the strategies. The amount of materials we were exposed to and given was astonishing. I feel armed with ideas, books, DVDs, and the power to add more. It was all wonderful.

                                                                     Jennifer Lach

The focus on coaching was a breath of fresh air that is helping me reflect on what I really do. I loved the concrete examples of ways to use informational text. I wish all of the coaches from my district could have experienced this workshop.

                                                                             Linda Willis

The clearly thought out presentations, video demonstrations, professional resources, wonderful books, and powerpoints all made for a compendium of resources to build my awareness of best practices for coaching and demonstration lessons. The knowledge of the presenters is so current and I love learning from the BEST!

                                                                             Mary Ellen Higgins

The cost of the workshop is clearly well worth it, between the knowledge gained through the presentations and resources you distribute. The conversations and visuals to spark how implementation might occur in home districts are outstanding.

                                                                              Elizabeth McGowan

The entire staff's welcoming demeanor and professionalism coupled with genuine warmth was helpful in so many ways. Then the content provided immediate take away strategies to move forward. The biggest surprise was the enormous amount of material (resources) provided at no extra cost! Awesome and so appreciated.

                                                                               Cindy VanGlahn

There were clear, thoughtful, content-rich presentations with information that is highly relevant to me; the days were engaging and intellectually stimulating. The workshop is very meaningful and well-done.

                                                                               Debbie Milner

The presenters were honest and straightforward. Everyone truly is at a very similar spot -- no one has all the answers, but is questioning and figuring it out together. They stayed on topic and their work is of such a high quality.

                                                                             Mary Cox

The presenters shared a wealth of knowledge that was very practical. I can take ideas back to use immediately. I think my literacy department colleagues would gain a lot from the workshop.
