We offer the kind of events we would like to attend, but never seem able to find anymore -- small enough to chat with the presenters and other participants, in beautiful locales that help us recharge mentally and physically.
You'll leave our professional development programs with templates, high quality videos, discussion protocols, and memories of conversations with other teachers and school leaders who share the joys and struggles of helping schools move forward in literacy. We have a special emphasis in many of our workshops on the Common Core State Standards -- how to collaborate, implement, and lead colleagues who are grappling with changing assessments and curriculum.
Each course in our new online workshops program includes three webcasts, a Choice Literacy DVD, personal response from the instructor, readings, a one-month subscription to Choice Literacy, and a discussion board for learning from colleagues across the country.
View our video postcard from our fall events in Maine to hear from participants about the value of Choice Literacy Workshops:
You can search for workshops by location, presenter, or topic. Pay online with a credit card, or download a registration form to pay with a check or purchase order. We hope to see you at a Choice Literacy Workshop soon!
If you are interested in the CAFE in the Classroom Workshops, these are now being offered through "The Sisters" - you can visit www.thedailycafe.com for more information.
