Please Respect Our Copyright
Thank you for visiting the Choice Literacy web site and supporting our work. All writing on this site is copyrighted, in the name of the individual contributors. These teachers, literacy coaches, and school leaders have put a lot of time and energy into creating this content.
You may print pages from the web site for personal use only, or to share in local staff development settings with an attendance of no more than twenty individuals, where no fee is charged for participation. No written permission is required for the use of the materials within these parameters, but all these fair use reproductions must include the copyright insignia at the bottom of each page.
You are also free to link to pages on the Choice Literacy site from other web sites, reproducing no more than a paragraph from the page within a fair use context. Subscribers or visitors do not have permission to reprint whole articles on other sites or within discussion group forums. Copying whole articles at other sites, reproducing these materials in any commercial venue, or distributing any article to large groups of educators in any print or electronic medium without express written permission from any author is a violation of the copyright all of our contributors retain on their work.
The contributors to this site view Choice Literacy as a place to test out ideas they will develop further in future books and resources for teachers and school leaders. To the extent we all protect their copyright, they will be willing to share these fledgling works-in-progress with a wide audience. Choice Literacy intends to protect those copyrights to the full extent of the law, but our hope is that site visitors won't force us into putting time and energy into copyright protection. We'd rather spend our time developing and responding to the new ideas, resources and learning possibilities our contributors' writing provokes. Thanks for respecting our copyright guidelines. Terms of Use.
