The Sisters Redesign a New Teacher's Storage Area (VIDEO)
The Sisters (Gail Boushey and Joan Moser)
The Sisters help a new teacher, Amy, sort through junk she inherited from previous occupants of her classroom. They use the "piles" method to sort through materials, separating books and supplies into four stacks: 1. Materials to keep
2. Materials to keep (but store elsewhere)
3. Materials to offer to colleagues
4. Materials to discard or recycle
The video uses time-lapse videography to show how the coat, storage and book area is transformed in the process of winnowing down these materials. Total length of the video is six minutes, divided into three chunks for ease of viewing.
