The Choice Literacy Sisters Sampler gives viewers a taste of "The Sisters" (Gail Boushey and Joan Moser) at work in kindergarten through middle school classrooms.  The vignettes include excerpts from previously published DVDs, the Choice Literacy website, and new footage highlighting the Daily 5 System, CAFÉ Assessment Menu, and "Simply Beautiful" Design Principles.  The one-hour video includes examples of:

"    CAFÉ conferring in elementary classrooms;
"    Daily 5 lessons to promote independence;
"    Strategy groups based on assessments;  and
"    Classroom library and meeting area makeovers.
The Sisters Sampler provides glimpses of  Gail Boushey and Joan Moser's comprehensive system for promoting literacy learning in lovely classroom environments.  Gail is currently a literacy coach, and Joan works as a kindergarten teacher.  With good humor and sharp insight, they collaborate with colleagues and students to build vibrant learning communities.
